My name is Raúl Alberto Román Riefkohl. By means of this message I am creating a worlwide virtual community for the Riefkohl family.
Many of you are already familiar with Ernesto Riefkohl's web site where you can trace your Riefkohl branch all the way back to the mid 1600s. If you have any questions about the information there, please communicate with Ernesto at: e_riefkohl@altavista.com.
My ultimate goal is to create a website that we can all use to share information and photos, ask questions, promote your business and hobbies, etc. And above all, keep the Riefkohl ring alive. I will need help; if you are savvy about creating web sites, please let me know.
A few ground rules:

b) If you DO want to be included, please also send me an email with the email address that you want to use.
c) Refrain from sending jokes and chain letters. The purpose of this ring is to share family matters.
d) If you know someone who would be interested in joining the ring, please forward this message and have them send me an email so that I can included them in future messages.
One of the first things many of you may want to do is share some information about yourself and your family. I will start out by saying that:
I was born 21 November 1956 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. My mother is Wilma Johanna Riefkohl Jiménez and my father is Raúl Román Quiñones. My maternal grandfather was Alberto Riefkohl Burgos (you will find him at the end of Ernesto's family tree...so you can trace back this branch all the way back to the Pastor Georg Daniel). I lived in Puerto Rico until I graduated from high school. I graduated from Marquette University, and later from Arizona State University and Princeton University. I have been married for 21 years. My wife is Roberta (Bobbi) Lynn McKinney, a native of Arizona. We have three children: Benjamin Alberto (12), Banca Elena (10), and Brianna Joëlle (3). I work at Marshall and Ilsley Bank in their Treasury Management Department (commercial sales). We just recently relocated back to Phoenix. Next month we will be moving to our new home.
