This week we welcome Arlene Eden to the Ring von Riefkohl. We had Arlene's old email address so she was unaware that we had created a website. You can access Arlene's own website by linking to the Links section of www.riefkohl.com.
In North America and Puerto Rico, tomorrow November 23 we celebrate Thanksgiving. It a wonderful holiday. Families and friends get together and savor a delicious meal often consisting of turkey and lots of vegetable dishes. At our household we will have approximately seventeen people. My brother Willy, and his friend, Bill, are coming from Los Angeles. My father-in-law is coming from Safford, Arizona. Our friends Jason and Joëlle are coming, along with one of our children's swimming coach and her family (four boys!). So I know it will be a lot of fun tomorrow! And the weather for Phoenix tomorrow will be in the high 60s (F) and sunny!
Our cousin Tobi tells us than in Germany there is a holiday called Buß- und Bettag. I will have to defer to him to tell us what this holiday means for the German people.
