Dear Family and Friends:
First of all, a big "Happy Mother's Day" to all the Riefkohl mothers around the world. Here in the USA, Mother's Day is celebrated the second Sunday in May.
I also want to welcome to our family ring, two members of the Maseberg-Riefkohl family that settled in Argentina: Herman and Maria Clara. They are descendants for Alex Maseberg, son of Carl Maseberg and Agnes Riefkohl (see www.riefkohl.com, Pedigree Section #6).
Lastly, it is with great sorrow that I inform you that Atty. William Riefkohl Villodas passed away yesterday in Puerto Rico. "Tío Willy", as we always called him, was 87. He was the grandson of Otto Julius (first Riefkohl to arrive in Puerto Rico) and great great-grandson of Johann Ernst Christian. I know that many of our cousins in México visited with "tío Willy". May he rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy for his wife, Gloria, and his children and grand-children.
